On December 16, 2015, I decided to give everything away and live a life with “no things”, attempt to pay off $32,000 of student loan debt in 12 months and go on a journey of self discovery, healing and adventure. So I took the plunge and decided to live in my car and explore the concept of Mother Earth as my rightful landlord. Now everything I own, less a box of baby stuff my mom won’t throw out, fits in the trunk of my car. Plus I have never felt as free or liberated from the oprresive values of mainstream American vulture, which is pretty sweet too.
So with no concrete plans and a burning desire for spontaneity and authentic experiences, I am determined to see this thing out- pay off my student loans, explore the world, cross off some items on my bucket list, learn a thing or two, fuck up, challenge the status quo and discover the lost art of the tumble weed.
